Cashier’s Office 
Room 110 Allen Center (Building 2 on Campus Map)– Hours 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
This is where you pay tuition, fees, insurance, fines, etc.  You can also cash checks (see their staff for guidelines) by presenting your student identification.

Parking Office 
McNair Hall (Building 44 on Campus Map) - Hours 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
This office will also issue parking permits and register vehicles.  Bring your student I.D., and be sure to register for your courses before attempting to register your vehicle.  This office is located in McNair Hall (Jones Business School), in the underground parking lot.  You may also register online at: http://cohesion.rice.edu/campusservices/parktrans/parking/registration.cfm

Payroll 
2600 Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza (Outside Entrance 3) – Hours 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
This is where you can obtain tax information (W-4 and I-9), sign up for direct deposit and obtain time sheets if you are working a campus job.

Police Department 
Building 51 on Campus Map – Hours 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
In order to obtain your student I.D. card, the University Police Department will accept anything that has your student identification number listed (memo on department letterhead, your paid statement, etc.) along with a pictured drivers license and/or passport.
Emergency dispatch runs twenty-four hours per day.

Recreation Center 
Area “B” on Campus Map
In the Fall of 2009, Rice University will open the doors to the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center.  The Recreation Center will offer intramural, fitness, aquatics, dance, and club activities.  Membership information is available via their website.

Registrar’s Office

This is where you go if you have problems with your Esther account or when you need to submit an Esther Special Registration Request Form.

Rice Counseling Center 
Lovett Hall, Entrance A, Third Floor (Building 40) – Hours 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
The Rice Counseling Center (RCC) provides free, confidential consultations and short term counseling for all currently enrolled Rice graduate and undergraduate students who have paid the Student Health fee.  713-348-4867

Rice Memorial Center and Ley Student Center

Rich Health and Wellness Center (Building 62)- Hours 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Closed Weekends
The Rice Student Health Services provides preventive and outpatient clinical care for the students of Rice University.
